Challenge
A toll road contractor in East Java needed 8 steel girders, 42 m long, from a fabrication yard in Gresik. Road permits were valid only from 22:00 to 04:00.
The erection crane was hired by the day. Every late girder pushed back the crane schedule and added to the hire cost.
- 42 m longBends and junctions had to be cleared with an extendable trailer.
- 6-hour permit windowEach convoy had to arrive before 04:00.
- Daily crane hireAny delay added directly to project cost.

-
3
Police escort

-
4
Crane coordination

“Our crane never stood idle waiting for a girder. On a daily-hire project, that is a real saving.”
